The Truth on Yoni Eggs

Shiva_Breakfast_Criminals (58 of 59)I have a confession. I dont really go on the internet that much unless it’s related to a something I am researching. I know that’s odd for someone with a blog, but I feel like we can become over informed at times which may disconnect us to our inherent intuition. So it came as quite a surprise to me when I started to receive emails from various people who were writing in support of an article I was interviewed for for GOOP. Many of these emails I was receiving, were from people who felt I was being misrepresented in the press, and so I had to go looking and see what was being said. The articles I read, were written in opposition or jest to the one I had done with GOOP on the benefits of the Yoni Eggs. This just made me realize how more than ever we need to speak from a place of wisdom and not hysteria. How we need to continue doing our work in the world, at times quietly and at times with a courageous voice. I am so honored to be on the forefront of a movement where women can be empowered in ways that aren’t about surgical enhancement, or designer bags. I feel strongly more than ever, that various practices like Kundalini Yoga, being in the natural world, beauty rituals, and the yoni egg exercises, can connect us to ourselves and our inherent power. I am just baffled at how some people in the medical field believe that inserting toxic plastic materials are okay, but natural stones are not. Like anything that is a practice there are various ways to learn, and that can be done with a trained practitioner or by studying. These findings are all based on my own experience but I recommend reaching out to credited practitioners for more wisdom.

Below are two rebuttals from jade egg experts who take apart a misinformed article by Dr. Jen Gunter.  I so appreciate their voices for standing up for myself and the article. I also am in absolute awe of GOOP. GOOP continues to bring things to the forefront of our culture to enlighten us in a courageous and elegant way.

One article is from a supplier of authentic eggs Jim from Polar Jade Enterprises. The other is by Layla Martin a Jade egg practitioner who has had years of teaching the mysteries the yoni eggs. For anyone who wants to take lessons and become more informed by this incredible practice, Saida Desilets also has wonderfully detailed books and courses.

Hi, Shiva,

This is Jim. I am an expert on nephrite jade.

Layla Martin, one of our clients shared the controversial blog wrote by Jen Gunter with us. I think Jen has NEVER seen a true nephrite jade egg and knows NOTHING about genuine nephrite jade before she wrote that blog.

Please refer to the attached 2 scientific articles about electron microscopic studies on silicone rubber and nephrite jade. Silicone rubber is a well known material for use in sex toys and Kegel exercisers. Scientific study confirmed that nephrite jade is very tough and dense, is NOT porous at all. The surface roughness and porosity of nephrite jade is 10 – 500 times smaller than silicone rubber that has been widely used in sex toys and Kegel exercisers.

As can be seen from the electron microscopic picture of nephrite jade, there is NO any hole (pore) in the nephrite crystal. The crystal chain defects are less than 0.1 micrometer, much smaller than the dimensions of bacteria, which is about 0.2 micrometer in diameter and 2 – 10 micrometers in length. It it just physically NOT possible for bacteria to diffuse in or grow in nephrite jade.

In one of the references attached, if you look at the electron microscopic pictures of the silicone rubber, you will find that the scale is 10 – 50 micrometers, 100 to 500 times larger than the scale in the electron microscopic pictures of nephrite jade which is only 0.1 to 0.5 micrometers. This means nephrite jade is NOT porous and is very dense and tough material, and is a much safe and better material than silicone rubber for Kegel exercisers..

Net, bacteria might diffuse into and grow in silicon rubber, but can NEVER diffuse into or grow in nephrite jade. Physically it is just NOT possible because of the very dense structure of nephrite jade.

If I use Jen’s style, I can create many similar versions:

“I would like to point out that SILICONE is porous which could allow bacteria to get inside and so the KEGEL EXERCISERS AND SEX TOYS could act like a fomite. This is not good, in case you were wondering. It could be a risk factor for bacterial vaginosis or even the potentially deadly toxic shock syndrome.”

“I would like to point out that STEEL is porous which could allow bacteria to get inside and so the STEEL KEGEL BALLS could act like a fomite. This is not good, in case you were wondering. It could be a risk factor for bacterial vaginosis or even the potentially deadly toxic shock syndrome.”

“I would like to point out that GLASS is porous which could allow bacteria to get inside and so the GLASS KEGEL BALLS AND SEX TOYS could act like a fomite. This is not good, in case you were wondering. It could be a risk factor for bacterial vaginosis or even the potentially deadly toxic shock syndrome.”

“I would like to point out that PLASTIC is porous which could allow bacteria to get inside and so the PLASTIC KEGEL BALLS AND SEX TOYS could act like a fomite. This is not good, in case you were wondering. It could be a risk factor for bacterial vaginosis or even the potentially deadly toxic shock syndrome.”

Hope these information is useful when you need to clarify with your customers.

Kindest regards,

Jim
